Drama


Suitable for anyone interested in theatre, students can get involved in all aspects of the creative process. Working as a group, students are guided by our teacher to create, design, produce and star in their own production.

Drama is thriving at Charterhouse and we want to extend this passion to our summer school students. We have a state-of-the-art theatre and excellent technical support to assist students in bringing their production to life on-stage.

This course will cover:

  • Exercises that explore the techniques of acting

  • Voice projection skills

  • Improvisation

  • The importance of movement in storytelling

  • The creative process in writing and producing a piece of work

  • The importance of reflecting both during and after the creative process
