Charterhouse Summer School is proud to partner with Surrey Cricket Foundation to deliver a flagship Cricket Elective Programme. This programme is designed to go beyond traditional coaching. It combines elite cricket coaching, competition, and once-in-a-lifetime access to the professional game, providing students with the opportunity to train, compete, and be inspired as athletes.

About The Cricket Programme

During their afternoon elective sessions, students will train in small coaching groups with Surrey Cricket Foundation coaches. All coaches have extensive experience from ECB talent pathways and county age group programmes, giving students an insight into life as an elite athlete.

Training and Competitive Structure

The coaching programme includes:

  • Technical skills development during sessions at Charterhouse School

  • High-intensity indoor training at Surrey Sports Park

  • Competitive fixtures against local opposition teams

The Kia Oval Experience

The highlight of the programme is an immersive all-day experience at the Kia Oval in London, one of the most iconic venues in global cricket. Days at the Oval are designed to ignite ambition, connect learning to the elite game, and offer students an unforgettable experience alongside their studies.

Every Kia Oval Experience includes:

  • Corporate box hospitality for participants and staff

  • Premium match tickets for double header fixtures and in-box catering

  • Guided behind-the-scenes stadium tour

  • Live attendance at elite professional fixtures
