Explore the big ideas that have shaped human thought, culture, and society. This enriching programme invites students to explore the big ideas that have shaped human thought, culture, and society. By engaging with literature, history, geography, and the arts, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the ways human beings have expressed themselves, organised their societies, and interpreted the world around them. 

Deep Thinking and Debate

Students will be encouraged to think critically and challenge assumptions through dynamic discussions and structured debates. From examining philosophical questions to exploring the role of art and history in shaping modern identity, participants will learn how to form arguments, analyse different perspectives, and communicate their ideas with clarity and confidence.

The Power of Writing and Communication 

A key element of the course focuses on persuasive writing and public speaking. Students will practise crafting essays and delivering speeches, strengthening the ability to express complex ideas in a convincing and compelling way. These communication skills will not only serve them in their academic journeys but also prepare them for future leadership roles.  

A Foundation for Future Studies

Perfect for students considering further study in law, politics, journalism, or the social sciences, this programme nurtures intellectual curiosity and critical-thinking skills that are highly valued by top universities. By the end of the course, students will have developed the analytical tools and cultural awareness needed to engage with complex global issues in an informed and creative manner.

Developing EFL

This course is for those with advanced English skills who wish to improve their English vocabulary and fluency through the study of an academic subject. Based on the popular CLIL model of language learning, lessons put dual emphasis on the academic subject matter and the English language used to teach and learn the subject. All students are supported in their English language development during the course. 

AI and Innovation

This course also features a module on AI and innovation, giving students a clear understanding of how artificial intelligence works, how it is applied in academic contexts, and the ethical questions it raises.
