Held in our new Business, Leadership and Entrepreneurship Centre, this programme gives students a serious head start on understanding the forces shaping our world, and the confidence to have a say in them. Through live debates, policy simulations, and real-world case studies, you'll explore politics, economics, and philosophy while learning to think the way global leaders do. Along the way, you can earn the IOEE Level 2 Award in Global Leadership and build the analytical, communication, and decision-making skills top universities are actively looking for. It's an especially strong fit if you're studying or considering the IB Diploma.
Understand How the World Really Works
Politics, philosophy, and economics don't operate in isolation, they collide, shape, and constrain each other every single day. You'll dig into governance, ethics, and economic systems side by side, building a genuinely joined-up view of what's driving change on the world stage right now.
Find Your Voice
The centrepiece of the programme: writing and delivering your own presidential speech. It's a chance to think strategically, argue persuasively, and command a room developing the kind of public speaking and leadership skills that don't show up on a normal school timetable, all in a supportive, low-stakes environment to take risks.
By the end of the course, you'll have sharpened your critical thinking, levelled up your communication, and built a genuine understanding of what leadership demands when the challenges are global.
Developing English as a Foreign Language
This course is ideal for students with advanced English who wish to strengthen their language skills through the study of an academic subject. Following the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach, lessons place equal emphasis on Global Leadership and the English needed to discuss, analyse, and present complex ideas. All students are supported in their English language development during the course.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
Walk away with the optional the IOEE Level 2 Award in Global Leadership.
Explain how governments, economies, and societies interact in a global context.
Analyse contemporary global challenges using real-world case studies and evidence.
Apply debating, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills to international issues.
Construct and deliver well-reasoned arguments and speeches with confidence.
Level 2 Professional Award in Global Leadership
This programme is officially recognised by the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE), the UK’s professional body for enterprise learning, and is mapped to the IOEE Professional Award in Global Leadership. For students who choose to take this optional extra assessment, they’ll receive a professional qualification, certificate and digital credential that strengthens university applications, college portfolios and early career CVs.
Students aged 13-17 can be assessed and certified for an additional cost of £395.
